I installed safestrap and did the whole noob step by step guide. Then i made the mistake of coming here and messing up my phone because i have no idea what I'm doing Need help going back to stock I have a bionic that i system updated to 5.9.902 a couple days after i got it. So we can't fastboot recovery, and without that we can't root. There is two for mm v10 already, and the bootloader is unlocked, the problem is that a lot of the fastboot commands are locked up. Same as before, fastboot oem unlock or whatever it was, but when I did that under LP, I don't remember the phone resetting everything back to square one, which it does now. It should be able to be unlocked again from what I'm seeing.

I did the update via LG Bridge and it seems to have relocked my bootloader.

oh well, phone still works right now, ill just have to wait for the super groovy dev on here to put out the marshmallow software that i require. I can get into the fastboot menu, but its stuck at the reboot screen so i cant continue with the process after than, and then my computer gets stuck "waiting for devices".
You should be able to enter fastboot mode that way. Try pressing and holding volume down while plugging in usb connected to pc. If the computer recognizes your phone you'll have to flash the stock recovery img for mm, when it is available. You flashed old recovery for lollipop on mm, that's your problem. I've tried to reinstall a recovery partition, etc. A friend gave me his son's RAZR M (Verizon, US) phone which he totally bricked.
